Project Location:

Carmel, New York

Project Brief:

Project Details:
Type: Bathroom Renovation (3 bathrooms)
Architectural Features: 12' ceilings, multiple roof lines
Design Approach: Vintage Charm, Contemporary take on country living
Challenges: Limited natural light, remote project execution

We are thrilled to present the transformation of three bathrooms in the Carmel, NY residence, a unique project boasting 12' ceilings and distinctive roof lines, offering a serene escape in the woods. This vacation home for a NYC-based family, who revels in outdoor activities like bird watching and landscape photography, required a design that harmonized modern elegance with rustic charm. Despite the challenge of limited natural light in two of the three bathrooms and the remote nature of the project, our collaboration with the chosen contractor and seamless coordination with local vendors resulted in a spa-like oasis. Earthy tones, organic textures, and nature-inspired elements echo the family's love for the outdoors, creating a tranquil retreat. This transformative project not only celebrates the architectural features of the space but also encapsulates the essence of the family's countryside getaway, where they frequently gather for holidays and summertime celebrations. The completion of the Carmel NY Residence bathroom renovation signifies a successful fusion of design aesthetics, functionality, and a deep understanding of the clients' lifestyle, providing an inviting and harmonious environment within their woodland retreat.
