This family wanted to have a “Beachy Chic” living room that felt like a coastal oasis yet in a suburban NJ town. They have a close connection to Nantucket and wanted to have a Living Room that gave them that Nantucket feeling. This was tricky for that reason. Giving it that coastal feel without feeling out of place in Chatham NJ. We began with updating the fireplace and found marble that reminded us of sand and we started from there. Adding touches of driftwood, natural fibers and wood tones with all the beachy blues. Millie, their beloved pup, even got a new favorite look out point for her daily neighborhood watch!🐾
